Well, it’s time to launch your kite! The safest way to do this is with a partner and preferably with the one who has more experience in kitesurfing/kiteboarding. This is why we call this technique an “assisted” launch. Yes, it usually takes two people to get your kite up in the air. Even though there are other techniques to launch your kite solo, let’s talk about them later and let’s focus on the tandem technique right now. (We will get to the UN-assisted launch, I promise!)
